We are looking to contract our teams for the 2025 season and beyond and are currently searching for holiday club managers for our Wakefield camp at February half term, Easter, May half term and Summer (dates below).
February half term; 17th-21st Feb

May half term; 27th-30th May
Summer; 7th July-29th August
We are keen to hear from candidates from sports, education and childcare setting backgrounds. You maybe a student studying a sports or education related degree, a supply teacher, TA or HLTA looking for working during the holidays, you may be a sports coach working in local schools and wanting holiday club work, if you have experience in working with children and sports we want to hear from you!
Our holiday clubs run every single half term and Summer- we are flexible in the work we are able to offer to you according to your needs. For example, you may want to work only set half term or only a few weeks of Summer, we are able to cater to your requirements and to offer as much work as you would like.
What will I be doing on camp?
Our award winning holiday clubs are brilliant places to work! You will be assigned a holiday club to manage with the support and guidance of our regional management team. Your role is to deliver amazing experiences for children aged 5-13 across a range of multi sports, arts & crafts and outdoor adventurous games!
As a manager, your role is to ensure the smooth and effective running of our holiday clubs. You will be responsible for;
- Planning and delivering activity timetables- knowledge of a range of multi sports, arts and crafts, outdoor activities, team games
- Assigning coaches to groups and leading a team
- Welcoming children and parents at the start of the day, being the face of the business
- Ensuring safeguarding and behaviour is kept to the highest standard throughout the day
- Ensuring children of all ages, abilities and needs are having the best time possible
- Liaising with the head office team to ensure the effective running of camps
- Ensuring your venue meets expectations in terms of set up, maintenance and cleanliness
- Overseeing coaches, ensuring they follow set routines and are delivering high quality sessions.

What experience/qualifications do I require for this role?
Experience working with children is a prerequisite. Coaching or teaching qualifications are desirable, but not essential. Significant experience coaching in a holiday club setting, school club setting or general club setting is a must. Candidates who have previously managed a holiday club are encouraged to apply for the role.
All coaches must hold an Enhanced DBS, or we can assist in the application process.
