Total Sports delivers multi activity and football holiday clubs every half term, Easter and Summer to children aged 5-13 across Yorkshire.
With a menu of over 50+ fun activities across the week, our days are packed with arty, crafty, sporty adventure fun and offer children of all interests something they’ll love!! Our activities range from dodgeball to den building, painting to hockey, field games to swimming, yoga to football!!
As part of our energy programme, your children will be split into age specific groups. This means that they will enjoy their day with children from their year groups and friends from other schools in the same year!! Our activities are designed to suit each age group and their interests with our experienced managers designing our timetables and coaches delivering sessions to ensure all children have the best time possible!!
2 Choices Every Hour!!! Your children will be offered 2 choices of activities every hour, meaning they get to decide exactly what they do! Our 2 choices are always designed to be contrasting and to appeal to all interests! Our timetables are designed by experienced managers who understand the importance of offering a sporty & competitive option and also a non-competitive more relaxed choice!! For example, your children could choose between basketball or a crafts activity, they could choose between capture the flag or den building, they could choose between Swimming or NERF; Our 2 choices work perfectly to ensure children of all interests are catered for and have the best day possible!!!
Total Energy also provides opportunities for children to engage with our WOW equipment, swimming, special visits from the police, fire service and animals and themed activities which are offered at set times of the year and at set venues; please check our website and social media for this closer to the holiday club start date.

What Does a Day At Our Holiday Activity Clubs look Like?
Our holiday club days all follow a similar structure in terms of timings, however each day has different activities and themes for your children to enjoy! Our daily structure is designed to mimic a school day; we know children and parents like routine and our structure enables children to take part in activities at times of the day which are similar to lessons, have breaks at similar times and be dropped off and collected at similar times.
Every day at our school holiday activity clubs is different to the next, we love to provide children of all interests and ages with high energy fun days!

What Does a Week At Total Sports Holiday Activity Clubs Looks Like?
Our weeks are designed to be highly varied and all encompassing! Across the week, your children will get the opportunity to enjoy 50+ arty/crafty/sporty/adventure fun activities- this can be anything from tig games, NERF, Yoga, Swimming, Football, Basketball and Den building. During the week your children will also get to enjoy themed activities. Our theme weeks are tailored to the time of the year; For example at our October holiday clubs we run a halloween theme, during the 6 weeks of Summer we run different themes every single week such as space week, dance week and science week.
As part of the energy programme, your children will also get to enjoy swimming at set venues on set days! Please check out our swimming page for more information on this and when this is happening at our next clubs!
The usual structure of our weeks is as follows;
- Monday means Mash Up Monday!!
This is a real favourite with children who want to do a bit of everything during the day- Think lots of different sports, plenty of arts & crafts activities, outdoor adventurous fun, WOW equipment and much more!! Mash Up Monday is a chance for your children to try lots of different activities across the day!!
- Tuesday is Team Tuesday!!
Team Tuesday is loved by children and coaches of all ages! Children will be split into teams at the start of the day and compete for points throughout the day for their team! Points can be won for winning games, being a brilliant friend, doing something kind, helping coaches or for just trying your hardest!! At the end of the day we do a big celebration with the winning team winning prizes!!
- Wednesday is Wild Wednesday or Wet Wednesday!!
Depending on the time of year, Wednesday means either Wild or Wet!! During the colder months, Wednesday is a day with lots of outdoor adventurous activities; think den building, bug hunts, bug hotels, scavenger hunts and treasure hunts alongside our usual other 50+ activities! During the warmer months, Wednesday is our Wet Play Days!! Our huge slip n’ slides, water guns and hose pipes come out for an amazing water fight and wet play. Wet Wednesdays are fantastic in the sun and gives children an opportunity to soak the coach!!! Don’t worry though if your children aren’t keen on getting wet we always have an alternative activity for them to join in with!!
- Party Thursday!!
Get your groove on with party Thursday! During the day, children will have the opportunity to join in with our disco and party games! Depending on the theme, party Thursday is also dress up day when coaches and children all get dressed up and have a brilliant party together! Our usual 50+ activities are played during the day but children also have the option to join in with our party!!
- Competition Friday!!
Competition Friday is a firm coaches favourite and the best possible way to end the week! Children compete for points for themselves this time; win points during our activities, for helping a friend out, for being kind to someone, for helping the coaches and more!! Children can win points during the day when taking part in our activities, at the end of the day the winner for each age group is announced and prizes are handed out!!

After 3 weeks of holiday clubs, our little one has enjoyed the first night of Football Academy, he is learning so much and will only get better with the skills shared from all involved.
Great sport teachers. They are fab while teaching PE in schools and fab at running the holiday club. I don’t even need childcare throughout the holiday but have paid for it several times as my son just loves attending. All the staff are very friendly and brilliant with the kids.
